Tips for Planning a Romantic Country Getaway

Perhaps you are on your honeymoon or you are just celebrating a very special Valentine's Day. Either way, you are probably looking for destinations and tips on how make the most of your romantic country getaway trip.

Destination Ideas

Perhaps you might what to try a rustic cabin in the woods in Wisconsin that may not even have running water, or you might want to find a quite and remote spot in Big Bear Lake, California complete with hot tub and all comforts of home.

If you do not mind the cold and you love to ski, another prime location for lovebirds is in the Swiss Alps. You can embrace each other while gazing at the snow-topped mountains, either before or after a long, adventurous day on the slopes.

If you are romantic country getaway but would prefer some "action" (other than the kind you can get in the bedroom) you might rather plan an Australian Outback excursion. Here you can take the most-traveled route and see the spectacular Great Berrier Reefs or you can go off-road a little to places such as the Gammon Ranges.

On the other hand, if you love to camp but are not much of a hiker you might want to play it safe and just go to one of the more popular national parks. For instance, many people enjoy Yellowstone in the Western United States or they might just go to Boston Harbor Islands and camp for a night or couple of nights.

Hopefully this is some ideas that you can put to great use. I will be presenting you with many more ideas in the coming weeks and months.
